My vote - Yes, they should absolutely be in the #1 spot.

If you go undefeated, and four of those wins came against top 25 opponents and there are no other undefeated teams, yes. Obviously Michigan State didn't deserve that #10 ranking when they played the Irish, but that is immaterial at this point.
