Notre Dame has the toughest schedule?

Brian Kelly just said that statement at the ND media day. Their schedule is below. Not exactly what I consider the toughest. Only 4 true road games. I see FSU and Stanford as top notch opponents. Michigan, Northwestern, Carolina, USC and ASU as solid but not world beaters. Then a whole lot of fillers. Honestly if we make the B1G title game I don't see a huge difference in our schedules assuming we play MSU twice or OSU.

Purdue is the only gimme. This is a very difficult schedule.

I'm not sure I can really argue with him. FSU and Stanford are Top-5 caliber. USC, Michigan and Arizona State have pretty good talent. North Carolina, Northwestern and Louisville can put up a fight.

Not sure how good all those team are this year but there aren't many gimmies there.

Certainly no cake walk but Id wager thsre are tougher schedules out there. I mean really Notre Dames at best can only be the 15th toughest schedule since the first 14 spots go to SEC teams.

That club is down to ND/USC/UCLA. UW quit it last year I think.

Nit, we have 5 road games + a home game in Indy.
