NU #9 in AP; #10 in Coaches after Wisconsin loss (Week 10 polls)

What it says is that the conference is pretty strong, and they realize it.

Very positive to have lost a game and only fall a couple of slots. Almost SEC like. lol

 
The two big 12 teams lost to unranked opponents and only dropped as much as NU losing to a quality team - probably giving a little too much respect to some 1 loss teams, but then again there are some 2 loss teams right behind them that aren't that good either.
