NU can make a statement!

The NU-Maine game on PPV is being offered for one reason only - MONEY! The game will turn out to be a big zero and we all know that. Yes, it will be fun seeing the new players and it will get everyone excited about the season, but the fact is, it's a money game.

I would love to see NU donate every cent generated from PPV to disaster relief in Louisiana and Mississippi. I think we should all email Steve Pederson and tell him we would like to see this done. Not only would this provide support to people who are really hurting, but it would give NU some positive press.

I'm not positive, but I think Fox Sports PPV is the one who is going to make the money off of the event.

Yeah, aside from the fact that I don't think we make any money from the PPV event, I really don't think it's the responsibility of a University to provide disaster relief... I thought we had federal agencies for that....
