NU Creighton Official game thread

WHOOP!

Love it. Even though I wish we would have scored 50 runs on them. Maybe tomorrow night? :)

Love this rivalry. I got more pissed off than usual a few time during the game.

EDIT: Husker Fans better represent in Omaha tomorrow... because I can't make it *single tear*

Man last game pissed me off, huskers didn't play bas but still won so that is good. They left too many guys on base.

Hopefully NU kills them tonight. Has anyone seen who is pitching tonight?

edit- it is Bird versus Vendite(the kids who pitches with both hands. He also pitched 2/3 of an inning last night with both batters being strike outs

Going into the bottom of the 5th the score is 16-4 Huskers. We just had a 13 run inning where we batted 18 men. That's right through the order twice. Two of our outs were sac flies.

 
That was awesome!

I can confidently say that the 5th inning was the longest inning I have ever witnessed. Holy cow.

Great win. Loved it! 30 wins! Already more regular season wins than we had all of last year!

Just hope we saved some runs for the series this weekend with Baylor!

Also, what was Kyle Peterson doing broadcasting the game? Does he do all Creighton games? I just thought he was strictly an ESPN College baseball analyst...

Close still nice win though. About that fifth inning, i went out and played catch with my brother in the bottom of the third, came back in expecting it to be the eighth or ninth and it was only the bottom of the fifth. Crazy.

You got that right! I think the bases were loaded 3 times that inning. I was loving it.
