I dont know Iowa and WI, play the same kind of game. With a line avg of something like 6'3", 6'4" and over 300lbs, they were always fun to play. Penn St. is a thorn sometimes but in reality just cant seem to step up a notch. Anyway yeah I think Bo and Kirk will find a way to make the Ia/Nu match a pretty good one most years.

I disagree. Penn State is still a very tradition rich place and a desired destination for quite a few. There is plenty of money at that school as well.

I really don't think that the Iowa-NU rivalry will be as close as some think. I see it more like our "rivalry" with K-State from 1990-Present. We may beat them 8 out of 10 times but when they beat us they will all say "Now that we own NU...."

A simple East-West split would've solved this, but Delaney was set on splitting OSU and Michigan into different conferences for whatever reason.

Oh well. Iowa loses one long-standing annual game while Nebraska loses five.
