No offense to her but they could mute Erin Andrews's mic and she'd still serve the same purpose she does on that channel. I don't consider her an actual plus in this day and age. It's not the early 90s anymore, there are thousands of hotter chicks you can see at any time in on the internet (without the bad sideline interviews and observations).

And while we're on it...they've got a lot of depth at the sideline reporter position over there at ESPN...

She does a better job than most w/ the injury reports and other sideline type of things. It's not as though we are expecting them to analyze the game for us...

it is a new world, and i love it. nfl, nbatv, btn all superior to espn. espn programming is becoming obsolete. they had such control of the market and just squandered it, mostly because of the greedy, money-grubbing little paws could not get enough cash.

The BTN is absolutely not superior. The game production was very poor Saturday. Certainly better than the old pay-per-view days, but still bad. There were 3 or 4 times I was screaming for a replay never to see it. And the angles they used to determine Ben Cotton was down during replay? Pathetic...nothing even close to a goal line angle. Then the ball ends up spotted at the 1 yard line where his knee is down instead of where the ball was. Not enjoying the games on BTN thus far.

i was talking about programming. as for game coverage, better than nothing. at least it is in hd.

 
Well BTN is supposed to know the Big Ten better than anybody, and last week its announcers kept marvelling at Northwestern's ability to move the ball on one of the best defenses in the Big Ten, a wild inaccuracy supported only by a single game the previous week.

 
Not sure if it's worth getting our panties in a bunch over, he does this every week. Although I really do hate Mark Schlabach. That's why I don't read his crap.

 
And to present the other side of the argument - BTN isn't too bad either (these may or may not still work for BTN but have in the past)

Way better than Andrews no doubt. Never have seen the reason for the following. Okay, but normaly better chicks in the stands all around her.

 
Wow those BTN girls are something else. I haven't seen them during the football game coverage. Do they cover other sports... like maybe swimming? :) :) :)

Or they could pan a camera at the sideline and have the booth relay injuries. My point is the sideline "reporter" serves no real purpose in most of the broadcasts other then chasing a coach down at halftime and talking to him about what everyone just saw for themselves.

 
I tend to think of her as adequate to okay, not that great, but better than most sideline reporters. I think nearly everyone of the BTN looks better on paper.

I do not pay much attention to them normally. They all ask such stupid questions, it is amazing some coach does not slap them up side the head.
