College football's biggest risers, fallers in 2024 facilities rankings

NEBRASKA HUSKERS (NO. 8; +7 SPOTS)
Where Nebraska ranked in 2018: No. 15

Opening just in time for Matt Rhule's first season last fall, Nebraska's massive 315,000-square foot football facility has pushed the Huskers into our top 10 for the first time on aesthetics alone. Coming with a hefty price tag, this is only the start of big-time renovations in Lincoln after Nebraska borrowed from ideas over the last decade and change from other major programs and put its stamp on things. There are oversized LED logos everywhere, sleep pods, various hydrotherapy options and incredibly nice player lockers among other amenities.

Is there more info on this? All I've seen is how great the projectors are lol

Yeah I'm sure there will be some fancy media surrounding it all at some point (insane the facility still isn't 100% finished), but from what I understand it's essentially a not-quite-VR walkthrough room where the players can see a field/game situation from their vantage point or from a neutral one and go through reps in terms of alignment and keys and such.

That incline is crazy, and brings back great memories of all the hills ran during midget and highschool football. Glad the coaches never had a torture device like that.  :ahhhhhhhh

Not a fan of the fonts and color combos though. That's going to look dated real quick. The old place had a more timeless look, but I guess I'm becoming an old geezer now.
