NU vs ISU and how it effects the Tech game

I can't remember a QB having any luck with no running game in Lincoln...
LA Tech in 98 had 500 yards passing and crap for rushing in Frankie's first game. Troy Edwards set the single game receiving yardage mark that day with 405. I think that was his total don't quote me though.
Not against almighty Frank the great Ohio U coach that couldnt land a job anywhere else Solich. This is eating you up Former, Nebraska getting better and better. :thumbs
:WTH are you talking about :blink: ??? Where did I ever mention FS??? As a matter of fact, I really dont care that Frank is gone, and I have said that many times :dumdum Why dont you try it in English next time :thumbs

As far as NU getting better and better, I, as well as pretty much everyone else, have said numerous times that NU has gotten progressively worse since last year. ISU was the first game that the team has made improvements :thumbs , and they still have a long way to go.

If you want to discuss the game or my post, I am happy to discuss it with anyone. Seriously, if you just want to attack me, take it to the Woodshed. <_< Now that what was left of your brain is oozing out of your ear, go drink a gallon of Ny-Quil and leave the football talk to the adults. :blink:

If it sounds like Im attacking you its because you and about 2 other people have such negitive coments about the huskers. Just look at your name FORMER FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :steam

Both of those guys are in the NFL right?...and what was the score that day...gimme a break.
Unless Edwards got picked up he isn't in the NFL.{Not trying to show you up just stating the facts}

Sometimes I wish you guys would think a little longer before you try to gouge a guy with some lame reply...it's almost like you wanted to show me that I was wrong......Was that what this was, cuz it was really sad?
I was just pointing out a QB who came into Lincoln and had success throwing the ball around without a running game. I guess I won't do that anymore since you think the whole board is out to get you. :wacko:

For the record Texas in 2002 had 419 passing yards and 79 rushing. Does that count as passing it all over the place and winning in Lincoln? They averaged 2.1 yards a carry as a team and Benson averaged 3 yards per carry on his own. That's not exactly awesome if you ask me. Simms was 29-47 passing.
I don't think the whole world is out to get me...However I will try lighten up

Simms is in the Nfl along with Bensen and Tech has no talent like these guys..

First, I never said I was a former NU fan.

Second, its called reality. Put down the Kool-aid and the Scarlet colored glasses, and join the rest of us here :wacko:

Kool-aid is good, especially the red stuff. :thumbs This is kind of a negative thread altogether. Formerfan makes some good points about concerns of the Huskers, Armistead makes some good points for positives for the Huskers. Tech is going to be a tough game, but I think NU can do it. I know I am pretty much summarizing, but if NU can win the TOP battle, not turn the ball over and hold Texas Tech to around 400 yards and 4 TD's or less, then they have a great shot. Only thing I am sure about is where I will be tomorrow morning/afternoon/evening, having a few adult easy to carry beverages and my voice being pretty much gone after the game. Can't wait for this one!

I couldnt agree with you more, except that for NU to win, I think they have to hold Tech below 3 tds, as NU's O hasnt scored that much in any game (regulation) all year. IMO, I dont think that the D can hold Tech to less than 3 td's.

We'll see tomorrow :cheers
