Might as well start the thread early today.

The game is on at 1 on ESPNU.

Dont think we will be intimidated today and if the team plays with confidence we have a chance to play with them hawks. Just need a good shooting day unlike what we saw at Mizzou. :box

 
Considering how crappy we played against Mizzou yet they were still in the game till the final minute, I like our chances to keep interseting for awhile down in Lawerence. I dont think we will win, but we should put up a good fight.

 
Just another measuring stick game. Although we'd all be fanatical with an upset of the ages. Remember last year, as bad as it was, the Lawrence game was close to end just like most of the others. Guys'll be fine, they got the road jitters out wednesday. Main thing i wanna start seeing is Diaz grow some balls and start being a man instead of a fairy all the time.

 
Shooting the ball pretty well now. Beranek looks good. Diaz is playing a lot stronger today as well.

14-13 Nebraska

 
They arent playing too bad.... KU isnt shooting the ball very well. It just a matter of time before KU goes on a run... Nebraska will just have to whether the storm and cawl back into it.

 
Awesome so far. getting a lot of breaks with poor KU shooting. This game is impitimy of how Doc wants to play. Still wann see Diaz be less finesse.

 
Big guys have played well today with the exception of Ubel. He continues to struggle. Jeter is doing a great job leading the team.

 
Half

We are up 30-25

Very solid, the only thing that worries me is the amount of turnovers. Besides that we are playing the game to our tempo and getting very good shots. Just box out and we will be looking good.

 
Drake Beranek is such an asset to this team...he always plays real tough D and can knock down shots as well. Has done an awesome job taking a couple charges in this game

Yeah he has really responded well after that rough Mizzou game. He needs to shot more today cause his shot has looked good today.

 
So far the Morris twins only have 4 points combined. We are doing a real nice job of shutting them down
