Ballgame. KU makes the clutch free throws, Nebraska doesn't. Fundamentals again.
Nebraska missed a ton of opportunities, they gave it to them. Ku didnt win the game, Nebraska lost it. We had 10 point lead and blew. They played hard, but sometimes thats not good enough.
Free throws, boxing out, dumb fouls, not playing aggressively in the paint - that's how we lost the game. Just fundamentals.
You find me a flawless played game against a much better opponent on any level of basketball and ill show you a check. Btw I forgot to mention it was on the road, where noone beats ku.
Ok, but we didn't lose today because Kansas is a much better opponent,
and we didn't lose today because it was on the road. We lost today because we made stupid mistakes like not boxing out, something that kids are taught in basketball when they're 8 years old. We lost because not because our big men don't play hard, I'm sure they do - they just don't understand how to play aggressively.
I'll be the first to admit that right now, Nebraska looks like it has its best team in years. But that doesn't mean that the reason we blew the game today doens't come down to really silly mistakes.
