NU vs. Texas

Three-Star Recruit
So, how bad will this game be. For the first time since I can remember I'm not excited to see a Husker game. The wheels, floor boards and horses are all gone from our wagon. If any players are reading this I'm not dumping on you I know how easy you can get your feelings hurt. I think it will be UT 56 NU 3.

By the way I'll probably will watch.

DVR it and watch it later. Skip past the real bad parts. I hope they have good commercials!!

If he's just going to skip past the bad parts he may as well not record it <_<

What is sad is I can actually see us winning this game. Excluding last year, where I actually believe we were a very good team (thanks, Zac, Carriker, Bradley, Moore, etc) ---It always seems that we win the games that really don't mean anything. Sure, Texas is a ranked team, but how good are they really?

I mean, they lost to KSU at home. And believe it or not, I believe our talent level is THEORETICALLY much-higher than KSU's. It's just a matter of, well...you know the rest.

I could honestly see us winning this one...just be "positive." And when I say positive, I mean positive in the way that we really never know what team will show up, how the play calling will go, etc., etc.

I'm certainly not going to say we're going to win out...I could just see our team "showing up" this weekend. Just to leave us utterly confused.

:w00t : :ahhhhhhhh :w00t :ahhhhhhhh :w00t :ahhhhhhhh :w00t :ahhhhhhhh

I hope you are right. :bonez :bonez :bonez :box :box :box I hope the team brings it. To say Texas is taking us serious is laughable.

I think I'm gonna play the Husker drinking game, that way I pass out by halftime and don't have to see how bad the final score is.

Heard on the radio the other day that NU is 1-7 against the spread this year. Doesn't bode well for us as the line I've seen is anywhere from 21 to 23. With that being said, Phil Steele has picked us to cover so I guess there is still hope, albeit a glimmer. :o

I think that's largely because the oddsmakers had us overrated all year. They refused to believe Nebraska could be this bad....I think 21-23 is finally a realistic spread....that said, the players sound like they're eager to get away from Memorial Stadium, maybe they'll show up in Austin...at least there should be fewer people yelling that they suck...
