NU's Bill Busch to Florida

Words out that Busch's old boss Urban Meyer wants Busch as a defensive coach in Florida. Will it happen?? Most likely a 60-40 he wont because NU is Busch alma mater.

Why would that matter? Busch's past that is.

BTW, moving to More Sports forum. This is for husker coaching stuff AFAIK.

 
Dave are you feeling alright bro? As far as I know Busch is still our/NU's Outside Linebackers Coach, so I believe thats why Eric had it in the husker coaches section, and alluded to his past. Cant believe you dont have all these coaches middle names memorized by now!! They've been here for nearly a year now you know.. :) Husker Coaches

It might not mean a whole lot to people if he does leave, but then again here starts the revolving door of coaches that other schools have had to deal with.

 
This is a positive/negative depending on how you look at it.

Bill Busch: I'm staying at NU

LINCOLN - Urban Meyer may be in Florida now, but one of his former assistants is staying put.

Nebraska Outside Linebackers Coach Bill Busch said Thursday that the speculation in Gatorland that he'll join Meyer at Florida is untrue.

Busch said he wishes Meyer the best, but that he's happy at Nebraska, where he just completed his first season under Coach Bill Callahan.

Busch was one of Meyer's top recruiters at Utah, and Gator Internet sites have listed his name as a candidate for the new staff. Busch said Thursday he wasn't contacted by Meyer.

"I'm a Husker,"Busch said.
