He got asked which freshmen did he think would come in and help the offense next year and he said Qvale and Sirles would have competed this year but they ended up having to have surgery. He then mentioned Ash as getting a lot better throughout the season bc he had to go against Suh every day and held up pretty well. He also said that Coffey has been pretty decent and expects him to be a very good player. Overall I was pretty excited with what he said about the youngsters on the o line.

I'm by no means the world's biggest Cotton fan, but we all seem to think there's some talent waiting in the wings on the O-line next year and these comments from Watson seem to back that up and with Rodriguez coming aboard in 2010 and Moore in 2011, it won't take long for "The Pipeline" to be reestablished.

Ya I think that we should give Cotton next year and if he doesnt show huge improvement then we need to look elsewhere. If he shows he can excel with next years group we have some pretty big studs coming up that he should be able to take us to where we want to go.
