With the exception of Michigan State and Purdue, their predictions are basically the same as last year, which is understandable with only one coaching change.

I guess Minnesota is 1.5 lower as well... Maybe people are tired of row the boat man.

6 is respectable for a team that only defeated in conference Illinois, arguably the worst BIG TEN team, and a Nebraska team that had quit by then. They failed to score in their final two games.

Feels bad going under the 3.5 win totals. Looking at you Illinois. Don't get me wrong, falling short of a 6.5 win total is not any better.

Once again, the more likely it appears Thorson will start the season, the lower the prediction for Northwestern. Very curious.

At first I thought this was a discussion of OU vs Nebr football based on the heading. :ou1:

I think we are safe to win 7 IMHO.  I predict 8 and hope to see 9 as not totally mind blowing unrealistic.

All comes down to the juice for me.  It looks like NU O 6.5 is -140 on Sportsbook.  I'm sure the juice is even higher via online portals that folks use to bet with locals.

It would seem to me that there is a difference between correlation and causation here.
