Pretty sure Central was a nationally ranked team that year. Could be wrong about national ranking, but they were pretty damn good.

They were good, but every one still treated it as, "I just hope Central makes it somewhat competitive."
 
Damn Norfolk is obviously pretty damn good this year. Is there a good place to go to get some info on the instate kids? Also, I really like the fact that the teams in Nebraska are getting more and more competitive with these highly ranked schools. Can do nothing but good things for the athletes.

And #1 Norfolk already beat South this year. There will probably be a heated rematch soon.....

Norfolk "scrimmaged" South before the season started, they haven't played an actual game against each other yet. The score during the scrimmage reset after every quarter and the backups for each team got to play so I am not sure how much of an indicator that game was. I'm hoping for a Norfolk vs South/Prep matchup at state.
