One tackle? Is it because the coaches are not communicated the true fact that he is recovering slowly from his operation, his leg hasn't fully healed, or is he a flash in the pan? Did he looks so good in his brief appearance against Main because it was Main? Could he not be nearly as good as what we thought? :dunno

 
I never said he was all that special. I just said that Rudd might be outplaying Steve O in practice and that is why he is getting more reps in the game.

mc keon was the only one who showed up on the d side of the ball......no pass rush, just pitiful, but a lot had to do with the conservative Coz defense..the whole game and scheme was un Nebraska-like....oh well, new week coming up..

I think there is a lot to be said for not giving up any BIG plays, besides maybe the time they got a first after 3rd and 20 or whatever, that sucked, it was like I could just see it coming too. Oh well, I think the D played fine against a great USC offense.

 
I still think this guy is being slowed by his earlier appendix problem. He still may not be 100% and that has to be hampering his player time.

 
Octavien sure has started the season slow. Total defensive tackles so far this season:

That is obviously the case. I think brandenberg is better then both of them.

 
I thought he looked a little heavy. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt since he did have the surgery and all, which if not 100% healthy can make anyone hesitant. He'll be alright.

I think Brandenburgh is awesome too. Hopefully next year they will work him into a starting spot somehow. It seems he is always playing 110%. :restore

He should be the front runner to replace Stu Bradley. He puts on a lot of hits.
