Does anyone else think he needs to go ? Seems like we have talent but it seems like the coach doesn't know how to coach them. I think Riley should have gotten better coaches when he took the job here. This is a disaster . Thanks eichorst you messed up a good program. Bill needs to hire frost. Look how he has his team playing in only his second year. 

 
I don't know, give him one more or two more years to get his guys and he probably can turn the line around.

Cav on why Bo Wilson isn't playing;

"Cavanaugh said he’s still impressed by Wilson’s physical play, but the offensive lineman still isn’t where the staff needs him.

“He’s a physically gifted guy, it’s just understanding our scheme is a big thing for him, and being consistent,” Cavanaugh said. “Physically he’s got a lot of tools.”"

I think I understand it.  On a pass play take 2 steps back and try to get in the way of any defensive linemen.  In case of a blitz turn a blind eye, same for any DL stunts.  For run plays mush blocking is required, try to get a 1 yard push straight ahead.  Do this in a non-aggressive manner.  Am I missing something?

Lol. Maybe Wilson is too aggressive and just doesn't play "nice".

 
Cav starting Conrad over Decker at the beginning of the year is all you need to know about cav. Once Decker got his shot (due to injury) center play and the whole o-line improved drastically. 

 
Nebraska’s rushing offense ranks 113th in the nation.  I don’t know what the hell “Cav” is doing.  

Our leading rusher has 499 yards this season!  

The offensive line has been the biggest disappointment of the entire deal with Riley.

 
I honestly thought Cav would be fired after the NIU game. I was shocked... until they fired Eichorst and I saw the bigger picture. 

Cav is a good dude. He's just not a good O Line coach anymore.

 
The one play Wilson was in against Minnesota was our first TD.  He blew up a LB and opened up the running lane.  Guess that constitutes not “understanding the scheme”.
