So is anyone going to bother to show up? Attendance at last night's game was pathetic. ESPN speculated it is gas prices and the odd scheduling/format change. Not sure I buy the gas prices. It's not like 10,000 people were driving in from Georgia every year. I guess if people in the surrounding area don't have money because of gas. But maybe it more likely they don't have a rooting interest in someone like an Oklahoma State or Wichita State.

What was the format/scheduling changes they were referring to?
