Manu like a BOSS!
I agree. Both team are much more balanced and experienced(Spurs moreso) than anything the Heat have/will see in the playoffs. This is a really good game and a really good matchup. It's the first series/game I've watched in a long time that I have almost no rooting interest. I'm just looking for the team that will sweep the Heat in the finals if they get there.
People bash Lebron constantly for not being able to close out games, but other guys fail to do it and no one says a word. Just last night we saw Durant hit ZERO FIELD GOALS in the 4th quarter, and no one is saying that he fails to close them out. The bias that people throw on Lebron is getting a little ridiculous.HuskerShark said:And now Lebron gets the MVP award....
2 guys were more deserving of it: Kobe and Durant. Both had similar numbers and they actually know how to close out games. I have never understood the hype around Lebron when he continues to prove over and over that he is not worthy of it.
Does Kevin Durant call himself "The King"? Did Kevin Durant have a 60 min. show so everyone could see him give Cleveland the middle finger? Did Kevin Durant claim the Thunder would win eight championships? I don't seem to recall KD doing any of those things...oh yeah...I forgot...that's bc KD is a humble guy. If you make these claims like LJ did, you better back them up. That's why he is held to a higher standard. That and he is suppossed to be the best basketball player in the world.People bash Lebron constantly for not being able to close out games, but other guys fail to do it and no one says a word. I'll take the Celtics by 4. Rondo is the key to this game. The Heat have notoriously been beaten by teams with a good point guard, and Rondo is one of the best in the NBA.Cetics v. Heat today. Who is everybody taking for game one.
I'd favor the Spurs in a seven game series. I believe that road wins will be hard to come by in this series. This series is not over. Just judging by this game alone, I am looking for this series to go to 7 games, and that obviously favors the Thunder. I'll take OKC in 7.

And for the series, I'll take Celtics in 6.
I see what you're saying and you are probably right in that regard. I guess I am dancing between 2 different trains of thought from the game last night, and only time will tell which one will play out to be true:I'd favor the Spurs in a seven game series.
