This was maybe the only run in Dan Alexander's career where someone tried to ankle tackle him and he didn't go to the ground. He was a very good player but always seemed so top heavy and unbalanced.

True story. Saw Mr. May in a restaurant last month. My wife had my son go up and ask if he used to play for the Huskers. He said he did and asked if he wanted an autograph. As there weren't many options for what to write on, my son now has a $1 bill with Matt May's signature hanging on his wall.
): At a game back in the day, a girl was sitting behind my parents. EVERY time Buckhalter got a carry, she would go on and on about how crappy CB was, repeatedly saying "Stupid Buckhalter!" Then he scored a few times and she STFU
