That was incredible! I thought we were about to get beaten in the 2nd half and a tie was the best we could hope to hang onto. Ghana was really just taking it to us almost all game and, it was a scary 2nd half. I'm worried about what might happen if Altidore can't return, but loving this at the moment.

BTW, I heard FIFA is corrupt, crooked, kickbacks, preplanned results (fixed) .... equal to olympic IOC.

They don't stop the clock for injuries or celebrations after goals or arguing with the ref so they add time at the end to make up for the lost time during the game. 5 is longer than average, usually 3-4 mins.

FIFA may be crooked, but I have a hard time seeing how they can fix a game when penalties are pretty uncommon. Meh, they'd probably fix the games in our favor if true just so that Americans will start caring about soccer more than every four years.
