***Official 2014 NFL Discussion Thread***

I've heard a few "experts" lately talk about how the NFC is tougher. Not sure how they're figuring that.

The NFC currently has three teams at 9-3, seven teams at 7-5 or better and one team leading a division at 5-7. Three of the divisional third-place teams are under .500 including two teams with three wins.

The AFC currently has three teams with 3 losses, 11 teams at 7-5 or better and the worst division leader is 8-4. Three of the divisional third-place teams are 7-5.

The AFC leads the inter-conference games 28-25-1.

The Jets are 1-2 when rushing for 200+ yards this year.

The rest of the NFL is 18-2 when rushing for 200+ yards.

The only thing better than the Broncos beating the Chargers is the Broncos beating the chargers with Phillip Rivers throwing two late picks to thwart their own comeback attempt.

I think if Romo were on any other team he'd be MVP this year. He's far too polarizing to actually get it. Pretty drastic evolution seeing him go from the most gunslingingest QB in the league to most efficient.

So Lavonte David is second in the NFL in tackles the year after being fifth and STILL isn't good enough for the Pro Bowl....

Pro Football Talk reporting that Chip Kelly may be on the way out of Philly. Philly fired a close Kelly friend in the front office a couple days ago.

Rumors are Philly may trade Kelly to San Francisco.

When will the NFL find a decent vocalist to sing the National Anthem? They would do better to just play a recording of Robert Merrill singing it than to use these recording artists that don't have the voice and insist on deviating from the way it was written. The guy who sang it today at the Carolina/Arizona was pathetic.
