The only logical explanation I can come up with is it will be a helluva lot easier to win at USC than at OU, especially when they end up moving to the SEC. Otherwise, this is a strange decision. OU have no problem recruiting, a large and devoted fan base, supportive donors, etc. It must come down to easier competition in the Pac 12.

And SC has always had a near monopoly on the talent hotbed of SoCal and the central valley.  The nearest blue blood is actually U Texas.

 
Iowa is playing in Indy after not playing one ranked team in this weeks rankings.  They lost to two unranked teams.

Michigan only played two and lost to one.  

I think Iowa is going to lose and not really be in the game.  But, this doesn't bode well for a Big Team if they make it to the playoffs.
