Bazooka. They run this and practice it every Thursday.  All year.  The position of the kick is the set up by the run play. Then scrambling off the field in a hurry then running ST on field for the kick.  Every. Thursday. In practice. All year.

Everyone was prepared.  Great coaching. 

It was not luck or getting bailed out.  When you practice this all year, you see the positive results.  Coaching.  11-0

Eh, not exactly.  Yes, they practiced the rushed field goal.  Credit to them for that. 

But it was stupid to run the play they did on 3rd down.  If it takes him another second or two to get tackled, they don't even get the next snap off.  A ton of other things could have gone wrong.  It wasn't worth the chance to get a couple more yards.

If the kicker misses that they would be getting roasted.

Damn TCU is destroying Matt Campbell and Iowa State. 24-0 in the first quarter alone. I think to myself wish Nebraska could and would go back to destroying teams that they should beat and not have a single thought the destroying team is going to come back some how. Maybe Rhule can get us back there bc it would be nice to see that.

Will Matt Campbell get fired after this year?

I mean ... I don't really think so.  But he's been trending down for the last two years.  Or, if you throw out the COVID year, he's been trending down since his third season there.  This will be his worst season since his first at Iowa State.

 
Jimbo Fisher isnt going anywhere. They are playing physical football against LSU. I really thought it was going to be close but at 31 to 17 that's not close. Texas A&M came to play and the fans came to watch. You know they saw that pic on twitter where no one was at the game last time plenty of fans tonight though.
