Show of hands.....after living with our seeming eternal quest for another coach, and the life experience that gives us.....did anyone think belichick was going to do well there?

Heck maybe he does good, and this is just an anomaly.

I don't see him putting up with all it takes to be a head coach in college very long. For that matter, I can't believe he did it in the first place. Though I saw last night that his dad was a coach there back in the day so perhaps that was a pull.

Maybe the Belichick era pans out for NC, I guess we'll see. Last night was certainly embarrassing for them - that's for sure.

For one game it kind of did my heart good to see you can't merely bring in a splash hire of a coach and transfer in 70 new players to become an overnight sensation. At least not in this instance.

Yet despite it all, every time we miss a field goal plenty of the mouthbreathing morons in our game threads will pine for the exact same thing.

No doubt Ohio State and Texas brought elite defenses, but is it possible that the hyped quarterbacks for both hyped teams were kinda "meh?" Pretty sure I saw a bunch of unforced errors.

Arch will probably be fine. We should stop hyping people who haven't even been QB1 yet. Texas will also be fine. SEC and their media spend too much time smelling themselves.

If North Carolina played Colorado right now, who would you root against most?

Colorado by a landslide. Bill and UNC are entertaining to watch fail, but haven't really earned my ire or active dislike as much as they're just fun to laugh at. Colorado and Deion "I'm such a role model my son broke a janitor's neck and left him permanently crippled" Sanders deserve to fail.
