Interesting read. I don’t like it but it is how the game is now played. I do have to think Texas Tech? If they can do this, then we need to do something at least close. Not Texas, not Texas A&M, Texas Tech pulled this off.

I expected us to do this at the very beginning of NIL, and thought it could be the great equalizer with all of our crazy loyal fan support and supposedly deep pockets. Not only did we not get a leg up on everyone, we even appear to be falling behind.

It has indeed turned out to be the great equalizer as expected, just not for us.
