If we were going to move forward as a program and I believe we are then destroying a bad team like this needed to happen. While it doesn't mean we are ready to beat the Georgia's of the world it does show we aren't in the same position to struggle to win against bad teams.

This is one of the few results of a game that I'm very glad to have been wrong about. I felt we'd win, but that it'd be a little bit ugly, like 24 - 17 or some such. This was what we were supposed to, instead. A bit of a beat down of a crappy team. Akron scored nothing. We scored a lot.

Same. And actually using the full playbook instead of some limited crap to let us think "we are hiding the good stuff until conference play" only to find out we actually had nothing else to show....
