*** Official Akron Game Thread ***

BTW Shea Patterson is already benched for Meatchicken.  Patterson looks like he's about to cry.

NVM it's a cramp.

The one thing that irritated me as a player and there were lighting delays is that I know lightning usually strikes the tallest thing around.  Players down on the field aren't gonna get hit.  Is there any history of any players ever getting struck by lightning in a game?

Probably not - but there's a >0% chance that it might happen so you can't take that risk because if it does, you're fried.

He was dealt a rough hand having Notre Dame as his first opponent. Especially with all the hype.
With the hype Michigan fans were giving him, I can't feel sorry for him.  I have zero problems making fun of them next week when I see them at the office, most of them are dbags.

I heard the game might not even be televised tomorrow.

I honestly don't care at this point. Last time we played Akron I listened on the radio and I survived.

That said you'd think BTN would jump on it and could get some quick agreements together with some advertisers.

Cowherd:  I think Washington played well, it was like a road game for them

Uhhh Coach, you do realize where the game was played, it was in FACT a road game, please stay off the meds.

SOme network would jump on it. There is nothing on TV on Sunday morning. This is a great chance to get ratings.
