You let a smaller school like this hang around and they gain more and more confidence. Starting to remind me of Michigan vs Appalachian State a few years back 

Except that ASU was a 8-4 team last season and won the MAC, IIRC, and Appalachian State was (then) a FCS school. 

This is more akin to Maryland beating Texas today--a team that people wrote off went in to the home of a storied program and punched them in the mouth repeatedly.
