They call helmet to helmet like that when the other guy doesn't have the ball. When the guy has the ball and hunkers down for contact, and helmets hit, they don't call it. That's how it's intended.

It was helmet to helmet on a block that wasn't necessary. They called it.

Edit - Meaning the helmet to helmet wasn't necessary, not the block itself.

Bielema got that from Ferentz. But when the UW offense was horrible, he did defer for a couple of weeks.

No one was expecting them to win. That's when it happens. To come up big I can't trust three teams.

Well, then that's a payback non-call for the holding on their 60 yard TD run.

There were a whole lot of no calls on holds the entire game.

I think there was only one holding call the entire game - on Mathais of Wisconsin who blatantly grabbed a jersey. Mathais was in due to the Costigan concussion.
