Pretty good half. 

I believe our opponent, Buffalo, was in the AFC Championship game last year.

we had 2 tds called back on flags and a FG bounce off the uprights and we are still up 14-0     wish we had been cleaner but i will take being up 14 at this point.

Illinois did a much better job taking away Martinez, Buffalo looking lost every time he scrambles.

Martinez looks very good today.  He's made good choices and he's made some very good passes.  No, of course he's not perfect, but that's okay.  He has improved.  

The defense is looking much better.  They're playing stronger and stingier.  Something else is how it seems as if they're more aware of the mistakes that they've been making and there seems to be an effort to eliminate them.  Last year we saw a lot of shoulder shrugging and oh well.  The bottom line is I see improvement and that's the best we can hope for.

Yep, OL can’t open any holes for our backs. This has been glaring. AM can make busted runs against Buffalo but this will not work against better teams:

This is the first time Buffalo has allowed a 100-yard rusher since 2019. And Martinez did it in one half.

True. OL play is rough.  And shouldn't be in year 4.  And folks need to spare me the "we are so young" excuse.
