I would like to know the budget for that football program's uniforms... Wow...

They don't pay anything for them. Nike pays for them, just like we don't pay for our uniforms. Adidas does.

Either way, I would just like to know how much money gets spent each year on their jerseys. It's gotta be a ridiculous amount of money.

No nearly as much as the companies think it brings in. Otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.

It is ridiculous to be sure, but it brings in more and in Oregon's specific case it sure helps that the Nike CEO is an Oregon alum.

Each contract dictates how much they get in equipment. I think this is one of the reasons we stick with Adidas.

Since 2000, the Hawaii football team has been known as the Warriors. Most of their other sports teams were still Rainbow Warriors, or in the case of their women's teams, the Rainbow Wahine (Hawaiian for 'women').

Now all of the teams will be known as the Rainbow Warriors. I'm posting this here as a preemptive "new uniform" post, just in case they change things up.
