I actually kind of like the helmet. The uniform is fine, not sold on the shiny numbers and whatnot. Overall, it's far from the worst thing we've seen in this thread

Iowa State is wearing some throwbacks against Iowa. The unis are similar to what Jack Trice wore in the 1920s when he played at Iowa State.

Basically, Bronco Mendenhall wanted the team to wear these all year. He made the decision without asking any of the players. The players no likey the jerseys. Now they're only wearing them for Homecoming.
