I don't think Pitt should have ever left their 'throwback' helmet. There are just too many famous blue and gold combinations.

yeah I agree. The old gold color in general is a little overrated except on certain teams (ucf, baylor, etc.) Just look at the Pittsburgh Penguins; they went with old gold for a while and now they've gone back to the "Pittsburgh gold"/yellow and it just looks better.

Interesting strategy. The "partial reveal" technique or the "teaser" reveal. Nebraska should try this with the depth chart, or injuries. Would be fun.
