I can't imagine that sCUm is going to be able to hold up defensively against our running game.  We have almost 250 yards rushing in the 1st half.  Keep running the ball and we should destroy the puffs in the 2nd half.

Need a stellar 2nd half offensively. 

Games not over by a long shot.  We need to bring the heat.  In the excerpt from Winstrom and Peters, they talked about not taking your foot off their throat. Time to see that mentality....

Agreed. But I'm confident we'll maintain the advantage. Regardless - if they don't, this team looks talented and well coached. That alone is exciting enough for me, because the wins will come.

Other than limiting turnovers, only concern of the 1st half is the health of Tre Neal.

Nebraska has the yards advantage 329-140. Has the rushing advantage 243-9. Nebraska has ran 46 plays to Colorado's 34. Colorado is 1-7 on 3rd down; the only 3rd down they've converted was from a screen play that took advantage of the fact that we're bring heat on 3rd down. There was a stretch in that 2nd quarter where Nebraska got a sack on 3 consecutive 3rd downs. 

The score is only 21-17 right now because of the 2 turnovers, one which was a great hit, the other which occurred when Martinez was trying to make an effort play. Turnovers are part of the game, but you have to think without those turnovers this game is something like 24-3 or 28-10. 

I think NU breaks it open in the 2nd half.

Neal looked like the staff was walking him to the locker room.  Concussion protocol maybe?  Physically he looked ok walking off.
