If Scott ever needed a game to take his medicine...to wake up and make a few schematic changes to his offense, this was the game.

A bitter...bitter loss. Unexceptable loss when you think about the game in totality.

The spread elements to Scott's offense are fine. More than fine

The RPO's. The many Empty Sets. They're fine.

But until this team finds a POWER element. You will continue to see loses like this.

That's not the only thing.  Having more than 1 kicker is probably very advisable.  The pass defense gave up far too many big plays that resulted in touchdowns and became a different unit in the 2nd half.  The run defense of the 1st half was not present and eroded in the 2nd.  The missed tackles.  Martinez holding on to the ball too long and once again not seeing open receivers due to not being able to handle pressure.  Piss poor offensive play calling.  Relying on Mills far far too much in the running game.  I'm sure there's even more.

Well he has 7 years to fix it.  I'm assuming he asked for the contract he did because he's not blind.  A true sophomore QB that wouldn't have come here without him.  Losing his first year recruiting other than that QB, this loser mentality team, etc.  Get to a bowl and move on.
