O orangeokie Walk-on Oct 11, 2007 #37 To eat boiled crow is an English idiom which means to be humiliated by being proven wrong after having taken a strong position. In North America, the expression is simply to eat crow. Does anyone want to play? It's easy to make brash predicitons in a thread that will soon get buried in cycberspace if you are wrong. But this is a thread that will stand out and be re-visited over and over after the game Saturday. I don't particulary like to predict a score, but what the heck, this is a message board. If you want to go on record, and then be man enough to come back here after the game to eat some crow, then join in. I look at this game as a legitimate chance for the Cowboys to exorcise the last remaining Husker Monkey on our back. :woo Cowboys - 28 Huskers - 24
