**Official Cotton Bowl Game Thread**

I just think it was too risky...especially in the field position they were in. If it was closer to the 50 then go for it. He should have run it on 3rd down anyways!

shanle didnt get his hand s on the ball clean is how it got fumbled. Hit him in the hands, not sure if the pitch from Todd was great either.

I wish I could see the replay better to get an idea of how that play got muffed. D in the backfield?
Yeah, the snap went directly to Dane Todd, who then pitched it to someone (Shanle?) on a reverse. Auburn D got in there and screwed up the pitch.

that was a catch, he had control till he hit the turf.

That punt call was the worst call I've seen all year though, they are WAY to fast to even think that play would work.

From what I saw while the Auburn player was wrapping up Todd he swung around and his foot hit the ball causing the fumble.

Nice hit by Grix, that will make the recievers think a little.

Why cant announcers just shut up with they have nothing inteligent to say? They say that reverse was such a terrible play, but if it would have been a long gainer, they'd have been ranting about what a great call it was.It almost makes a guy turn the volumn down.

Okay, well, we've given them two free touchdowns.

The offense really needs to respond now. But we still control the line of scrimmage, so we SHOULD be able to get something going.

OK I am officially pissed.

When is NEbraska going to stop punishing its own defense? Two scores where AU had to go at a max of 15 yards. Hell, they are leading and only have one first down!

Stupid Stupid Stupid
