First half synopsis:
NU's offense has pretty much moved the ball at will all day. NU should continue to their offensive gameplan but mabe even run the ball a little more to setup playaction. CU's beatup secondary will bite on the playaction and 6 should be easy.
CU's offense needs to put away the trick plays and continue to attack the middle of the field. NU is giving them the middle and the offensive line needs to give Cody time to make the throws. If CU's defense can force a NU punt to start the second half then the Buffs will really begin to beleive that they can win this game.
Defensively, CU needs to build pressure on Ganz and find ways to make him make a poor decision. Nebraska needs to plug up the leak in the middle of the field and continue to pressure Cody which will probably lead to a very bad interception.
Special teams, the edge here is clearly CU, NU is now afraid to kick to J-Fly and will be wary of him the rest of the day. The CU upbacks will now be instructed to call for fair catches.
All in all a very entertaining first half. Obviously I might feel a littel better about being tied up at the half on the road but there have been some plays to get all of us on our feet.
