Unfortunately, I do not think our defense is as good as some people are claiming. Any team with halfway decent passing is going to shred our secondary. Getting Dennard back will definitely help, but I'm not sure they can improve fast enough as a unit to deal with a team like WI (who is easily the best team in the Big 10).

He added 10-15 lbs from what I read. Needed the durability, but at the cost of speed? Trade-offs..... We definitely need him to last the whole season, so I'll take it.

NU needs a much better playbook to compete against a top-notch SEC team. Martinez won't outrun an LSU or Bamam defense.
