I think it's a response to the overt Ganz bashing.

But, he was swinging that ball around and didn't tuck it well just as he took a hit. Very lucky it didn't come loose until just after his knee hit.

It's amazing how far this defense has come in just a year. We're still at a point where great offenses like OU and Missouri gut us, but against next tier teams, we're playing some great D.
