Probably the best IPA I've had the pleasure of trying . . . but I haven't gotten my hands on the Plinys or Heady Topper yet.

I saw this was ranked high on beeradvocate.com and bought the only one I saw. It sits in my fridge waiting for Christmas.

 
Alright, Huskerboard. I don't always agree with NUpolo on football, but when he tells me to drink a beer I do it. However, considering I only have one bomber I went to the liquor store and wouldn't you know it? They got 5 more in stock. I bought them out. I don't usually take third party advice on beer, but if NUpolo and beeradvocate agree I will take the plunge.

I am cracking one right now.

Initial tastes reveal a citrus rich with only a hint of piney notes and one heck of an ipa. I enjoy their arrogant bastard, but this is way easier on the cascade hopes and way more floral. This is one heckuva beer.

Stone might be the best brewery in CA. Certainly in the running. Which means they're one of the best breweries in the nation.

I don't think over ever had a bad brew from them.

Their levitation ale is okay. I willingly drink it, but meh. They are, however, my favorite brewery.
