Official HB Good Beer Thread

I've had a few Deschutes brews. All have been pretty darn good.
I'll have to check them out.

I'm pretty jealous of CO for having easy access to these:

Stock up on Sam Adams Octoberfest, HuskerBoard'ers! Some neighborhood grocery stores are running sales . . . presumably to make room for the winter seasonals.

Anything Shiner, Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, and Guinness. I will sometimes do a Black and Blue (that's the only way I can drink a Blue Moon; I don't agree with fruit slices in beer), but I prefer a dirty ho (half Guinness, half Hoegarden). If done right, it's fantastic!

I've personally kept Dales Pale Ale out of stock at my liqah sto

I was in Vermont a couple weeks ago, and this beer was simply amazing: http://www.alchemistbeer.com

The imperial IPA I think it was, whew-eeeeeee.

Only about .001 points behind dales pale ale.

I had a Pumpkin Ale at Krug Park the other day, very good.

I had Banana Nut Bread Beer too and it smelled great but really did not taste like anything

Also had a Chipotle Bloody Mary that I wanted to take a bath it because it was so good.

What brand? Wells makes a banana bread beer that has a strong banana smell but not much banana flavor unless you let it warm up a few degrees

saw that shiner bock's cheer is out. very excited. i have to clear some space in my fridge, but i will be stocking up on this. and lenie's snowdrift porter; that is now available and i will be stocking up on that as well.

Had the Snowdrift Porter last year for the first time. That stuff is legit.

Bought 2 cases from Sams Club and 1 case of Leinies Oktoberfest from Cosco. I should be set for a little while.

Zipline is brewing some really excellent beer. IMO, they're the best in the state at the moment . . . and it isn't close. (I've been hearing good things about Infusion Brewing in Benson as well but haven't made it up there yet.)
