Tasty. Zipline is probably my favorite brewery in the state.

i really enjoy porters and oatmeal stouts, but is it ill-advised to drink them at ice cold temps? they seem better at a temp. in between fridge and room temp. i looked on some of the packaging for recommendations, but did not see any. thoughts?

Only available in Missouri, but they are quickly expanding (I'm acquaintances with the owner and good friends with most of the staff but their beer is fantastic). This is their winter seasonal, and probably my favorite beer:

Was in Ohio last week and always heard a lot of hype about how wonderful Yuengling is. So I picked up a 6-pack and brought it home, just tried it last night.

What a disappointingly mediocre beer.

Which one did you buy?

It was the black and tan, which I normally like. I know the Lager is Yuengling's flagship, but I don't like very many lagers. Should have just gone with the Porter.

I went pretty non descript this weekned...

Sam Adams Cold Snap. Put together with my homemade chili this weekend, pretty solid...

Was essentially the same as their Winter Ale from last year, which was pretty good.

Had this one this weekend:

Pretty good. A little sour taste but smooth. 10.7% alcohol

Drank a bomber of this last night but ours had a different enjoy by date. Worth a try if you enjoy IPAs.

Also, been through a couple six packs of this fine beer. Actually quite smooth and tasty.
