The exorcism of Emily Rose-decent movie, some scary parts.

It-Just a creepy movie, and I hate clowns.

I started "Let Me In" last night but only made it about a half hour before I needed to go to bed. That little girl is f'ing creepy though! I'm pretty excited to watch the rest tonight!

Ended up watching this last night for the first time:

It was quite excellent. I'd suggest checking it out if you haven't seen it. A lot better than the remake.

Tis the season.

I've recently watched:

Day of the Dead

Cabin in the Woods

Re-Animator

Zombie Strippers

House of 1000 Corpses

Lake Dead

Death Proof

American Mary

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil

Evil Dead 2

Lake Dead is my only regret, although Zombie Strippers is probably "technically" worse, but in many ways the best thing ever.

I watched "The Cabin in the Woods" a while back too. For anyone who is a Joss Whedon fan, I'd highly recommend it. Whedon puts an odd spin on horror movies while poking fun of the genre.

I put off watching it because I assumed it was your standard, ya know, "cabin in the woods" horror movie. It was anything but.

Drag Me to Hell - this may be one of the better newer horror movies. It still had some funny parts too.

You're Next - stopped it after about 30 minutes. It's supposed to be a black comedy, but it was just really really sh*tty. I was rooting FOR the killers.

Amityville Horror - 2005 with Ryan Reynolds. My GF had never seen it. It's ok.

Cabin in the Woods - We watched that last spring. It was pretty good.

Tucker & Dale - So good!

Get Out was great.  You should see it if you haven't.  I'm just not sure it's the all-time horror masterpiece many horror fans make it out to be.  It's basically a really good feature length Twilight Zone episode.  I love those types of movies.   Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Jordan Peele as a comic, but that's one hell of a debut as a director.
