Credible insider from another board confirmed that Tressel is all but hired. The plan is for Frost to be OC and head coach in waiting. So the rumors may orove to be correct.

I know of whom he is talking about, he's a credible insider.

Tressel + Frost combo is not the #1 choice. There is a lot of interest there to make it happen though. I'm not going to elaborate on it any further since there is a very big key part that needs to agree to it to make that combo work.

I'll bite. What is the #1 choice?

I have seen a number of people make "CEO" comments... maybe out of left field, but what about Tony Dungy?

Nebraska has money, but there's no way it's spending 7.5 million on Bo's buyout, then another 7.5 for McElwains before any salary is talked about.

And he's going to Gainesville.

Funny, replace "Bo" with "Muschamp" and Florida fans are saying the same thing.

Just going off of what has been said by iamnewby in this thread. No idea if he even knows whats hes talking about, just pointing out if hes turns out to be right, itd be a grand slam

It's being reported here that the Oregon AD hasn't heard anything from Nebraska regarding Frost. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's true.

That was Les Miles Natty. It's great to get a Natty as a coordinator but much different to get one as a HC. Hell, it's nice to just get a Conference Championship as a HC but we haven't seen one of those since 1999.

I don't like the idea, especially with the Playoff pushing the game back an additional week. It would leave 23 days between game and NSD.
