I get the visor thing, but I'm a little confused about the goalie equipment and the hybrid icing.

Is the size reduction of the goalie equipment to help the goalies move better or is it something to increase scoring?

I'm still researching hybrid icing. It doesn't really make sense to me, yet.

I think "hybrid icing" is what they use in College Hockey. If you ice the puck, the opposition doesn't have to skate back to touch it, they'll whistle it dead...

Pissed that the Sioux lost to Colorado College Thursday, which if they'd won the WCHA, would have probably got them a 1 seed...

Just saw that Alexei Kovalev retired last friday. He had pretty notable stints with the Pen's and the Rangers, winnning the cup with the Rangers in 94...
