**** Official Hockey Thread **** (NHL & College)

As I was watching the start of the game, I got to thinking about the thread where people were discussing the likelihood of Nebraska getting a hockey team. I remember someone saying that no one would watch because there "isn't enough scoring." Even though there isn't a TON of scoring in hockey, every shot attempt or breakaway puts me on the edge of my seat, even if it's for a team in which I have no rooting interest. Plus, there are tons of hits, which everyone loves :)

I've honestly never watched much college hockey, but do they allow fights in college?
There aren't anywhere near as many fights. But that being said, what they lack in the fights, they make up for in physicality. If you want a prime example, look up one of the best rivalries in college hockey, if not one of the most underrated in all of sports, Minnesota vs North Dakota. They've been at each others throats for a few decades now, but oddly enough, the B1G has destroyed that rivalry...

In the series, that if you'd asked me, had the best chance of going the full 7, the Sharks sweep the Canucks, and the summer of goalie discontent starts in Vancouver...
