Much as anyone might want to, you can't pin this so far on anyone other than Martinez (or whoever went with Martinez to start).

if he comes out for the next series, it's pretty clear we have no freaking chance in this game. the kid is totally clueless, running into the short side and loads of defenders. this may be out of reach pretty soon as the Huskers look lethargic to say the least.

This is exactly what happened last year, except this time we're Arizona. We clearly don't want to be here, don't care about this game, and Washington is WAY more motivated.

This could get ugly if we don't pull our collective heads out soon.
